Responsibilities
Assist senior staff in evaluating and developing security standards and procedures.
Review, develop, test and implement security plans and control techniques.
Coordinate reporting of data security incidents and participate in investigations.
Provide technical support in risk assessments and data security procedures.
Perform access control and administration of critical information resources.
Act as a liaison to assist in implementation of security technologies.
Identify and escalate changes affecting security policy and standards.
Skills
Strong understanding of security policy construction and publication
Knowledge of regulations (i.e., SOX, privacy, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong communications and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage various technical projects to completion
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office
Preferred Insurance industry experience
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
At least 10 years of technical experience in security aspects
