Job summary

Altera is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to define and scale security assurance and global compliance practices across our engineering and product organizations in the San Jose area. You will translate security and regulatory expectations into practical frameworks, tools, reviews, and reporting that teams can adopt and use effectively.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security engineering, product security, or governance.
• Ability to translate CRA, standards and customer requirements into engineering actions.
• Experience with SDL, audits, and certification-readiness activities.

Responsibilities

• Define SDL requirements, lifecycle checkpoints, control objectives, and evidence expectations.
• Create adoption frameworks and evaluate tools for secure engineering and evidence reporting.
• Conduct security reviews, CRA/compliance assessments, and readiness reviews.
• Coordinate with notified bodies on CRA evidence, reporting, and certification-readiness.
• Support customers integrating Altera FPGAs by interpreting security requirements.
