Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Lead Security Engineer in New York to partner with product, technology, and business teams. You will evaluate security of features, platforms, and third-party solutions, applying secure design and risk-based decisions.

You will translate complex findings into actionable mitigation options, architecture recommendations, and risk narratives for senior stakeholders, while driving secure design across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in cybersecurity, security architecture, or a related discipline with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Experience delivering or advising on enterprise cybersecurity solutions and risk mitigation strategies.
• Expertise in threat modeling, assessments, secure design reviews, and risk evaluation.
• Proficiency across cloud, APIs, identity management, and security across platforms.
• Ability to review designs and engage engineering teams with credible security guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to product, engineering, and business teams to secure design and delivery of capabilities.
• Conduct threat models, threat assessments, and secure design reviews for apps, cloud, and integrations.
• Identify and communicate cybersecurity risks and recommended mitigations across functions.
• Collaborate with leaders to suggest changes during vulnerability remediation or emerging risk periods.
• Evaluate emerging tech and vendor offerings for alignment with security architecture.
