Job summary

Valiant Solutions is seeking a Senior Enterprise Security Architect to lead security architecture guidance for on- prem and cloud platforms within a federal program. You will drive reference diagrams, standards, and policy language across multiple domains and frameworks.

The role requires deep experience with NIST SP 800-53 rev5, Zero Trust, and Azure-based security, with strong collaboration across stakeholders and the ability to produce actionable documentation and presentations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing security architectures referencing NIST controls.
• Experience designing on-premise and cloud security fabrics across all layers.
• Azure-based security with Azure-native services and COTS tooling.
• Ability to document, brief, and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of government-wide security mandates and RMF.

Responsibilities

• Develop and align system security architectures with organizational cybersecurity guidelines.
• Develop guidance for encryption for data at rest.
• Assess and evaluate security postures and identify protection needs for new systems.
• Document security and privacy requirements, including personal data handling.
• Support acquisition by providing input on security requirements and translating capabilities into specs.
• Contribute to RMF activities and maintain architecture documentation.
• Develop reference architectures, roadmaps, and risk analyses for enterprise security.
• Update artifacts to meet regulatory and audit requirements.
