Job summary

Quantum Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior Security Architect to secure enterprise information by determining security requirements, planning and testing security systems, and preparing standards and procedures.

The ideal candidate will evaluate network technologies, design PKIs, CA usage, and digital signatures, and ensure security across on‑prem, DR, and cloud environments while mentoring the security team.

Qualifications

• Experience as an application security-focused architect or DevSecOps with supporting software development teams.
• Proven ability to plan, implement, and test security controls across on-prem, cloud, and DR environments.
• Strong collaboration and mentoring skills.
• Knowledge of PKI, CA usage, and digital signatures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise security requirements and standards.
• Plan security architectures for LAN/WAN, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and related devices.
• Lead testing and validation of security systems and policies.
• Educate and guide security practices across development teams.

Job description

Senior Security Architect secures enterprise information by determining security requirements; planning, implementing, and testing security systems; preparing security standards, policies, and procedures.

Plans security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; developing requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices; designs public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software; adhering to industry standards on-prem, remote (DR), and cloud environments.

Enhances security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.

THE focus for this architect is on application security, candidates must have app/sec or DevSecOps experience, and a track record of supporting software development teams.
