Job summary

Lumifi-Cyber in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a L2 Senior Security Analyst to join our SOC team. The role involves handling customer-facing investigations, mentoring analysts, and coordinating with customers by email or phone.

Key duties include triaging alerts, supporting incident response, threat hunting, and documenting findings with recommended actions. Strong SIEM experience and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze packet captures and logs to identify compromises in customer networks.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, security architecture, and common TTPs used by threat actors.
• Experience analyzing log and packet data in a SIEM (RSANetWitness, Azure Sentinel, Splunk).
• Strong incident response methodologies and reporting.
• Experience using ticketing systems (JIRA, Remedy, ServiceNow, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Triage alerts and determine if further investigation or action is required by the customer.
• Assist customers with investigation and response of incidents during the incident response process.
• Perform investigations of customer requests with contextual information and recommended actions.
• Proactively threat hunt using network and host data within customer environments.
• Mentor junior analysts.
