Job summary

A Sr. Secure Software Engineer position at Arena Technical Resources, LLC (ATR) in Chantilly, VA, requires an active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph.

You will design, develop, and sustain an enterprise IV&V platform for GEOINT products, collaborating with Government stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable software solutions. The role focuses on automated testing, metric generation, visualization, reporting, and data management throughout the software development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related technical discipline and 9 years of relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required, willingness to obtain CI Polygraph.
• Experience with modern OO languages (Python, Java, C#, C++, Go).
• Experience building web apps, RESTful APIs, and secure software development practices.
• Experience with Agile, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise GEOINT IV&V software applications.
• Develop secure services, RESTful APIs, and UI components for automated GEOINT evaluation workflows.
• Implement automated testing, metric generation, visualization, and reporting.
• Develop components for ingestion, processing, storage, and retrieval of imagery and geospatial data.
• Apply secure development practices, threat-informed design, and automated security testing.
• Integrate authentication, authorization, encryption, logging, and other security controls.
• Collaborate with Cloud & DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and regression tests.
• Support system testing, defect resolution, and operational transition activities.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical interchange meetings.
• Prepare security documentation and user guides.
• Support RMF/ATO activities through secure artifacts.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning and retrospectives.
