Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Software Developer for a 200+ FTE technical development program supporting Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM/ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. The Software Developer will work with a large team of developers, software engineers and data engineers to modernize and implement industry standards while ensuring secure, reliable IT systems.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph, BS degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Additional experience in lieu of degree.
• Full stack development experience in Java, Spring Boot, Angular/Typescript and AWS cloud.
• Experience reading and developing solutions to satisfy customer requirements and specifications.
• Experience working in a Command Line (RH Linux).
• Experience developing custom ETL methodologies.
• Knowledge of Confluence, Jira, Git, and Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and modernize legacy applications.
• Write and customize scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances.
• Leverage Amazon Web Services.
• Design and use custom ETL methods.
• Develop RESTful APIs with Spring Boot.
• Develop Java and Angular (Typescript) apps leveraging Elasticsearch.
• Conduct unit testing and peer code reviews.
• Use automated testing frameworks such as Selenium.
• Communicate clearly and document designs and solutions.
• Organize work with strong time and workflow management.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams to deliver solid solutions.
• Think through challenges in a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment.
• Mentor junior developers on best practices.
