Job summary

Police and Fire Federal Credit Union in Bensalem, PA is seeking a Sr. SecOps Security Engineer to design and maintain robust security architectures. You will implement SPLUNK SIEM, manage IDS/IPS, deploy DLP, and coordinate vulnerability remediation with IT and compliance teams.

The role requires 5+ years of security engineering experience, strong knowledge of financial regulations, and expertise in IAM solutions like Okta and RSA. On-site work, with potential after-hours responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on information security engineering and administration experience.
• Experience with perimeter security devices and configurations.
• Proficiency with virtualization environments (VMware, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication and business acumen.
• Knowledge of financial regs (GLBA, PCI DSS, NCUA).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage SPLUNK SIEM for centralized security monitoring and incident response.
• Manage intrusion detection and prevention systems; respond to suspicious activity.
• Deploy network-based DLP and develop data privacy policies.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments (e.g., Nessus) and coordinate remediation.
• Deploy zero-day protection and develop response strategies.
• Manage endpoint protection and IAM solutions (Okta, RSA).
• Configure secure network solutions (FW/NGFW) and maintain security docs.
• Collaborate with IT and compliance to follow best practices.
