Job summary

SanMar is seeking a Sr Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to lead automation efforts in Issaquah, WA. You will design and maintain robust automation frameworks, standardize tools, and mentor QA staff while aligning with the software delivery pipeline.

Qualified candidates bring 4+ years in SDET roles, strong experience with SOAP/REST, Selenium, SQL and CI/CD. Hybrid work in Issaquah with competitive compensation and annual bonus eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field.
• 4+ years of SDET experience with automation leadership.
• Web services automation using SOAP/REST and tools like SoapUI, Postman or REST Assured.

Responsibilities

• Manage automation deliverables of a small automation team.
• Standardize QA automation processes across IT teams.
• Build scalable automation framework for current and future tech stack.
• Select and standardize QA automation tools, environments and data mgmt.
• Maintain and improve existing automation scripts.
• Train and mentor QA staff on automation practices and tools.
• Design automation metrics and report ROI to management.
• Integrate automation with software delivery pipeline and CI/CD.
