Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, IT, Telecommunications System Mgmt, or Telecommunications Engineering, plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.
• Two (2) years of experience with building software test beds, unit tests, automation tools, or infrastructures; C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, PERL, or JSON; SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Postgres, or MongoDB; Ansible, Jenkins, Jira, Chef, Git, or Gitlab; Django, Flask, Spring, or Splunk; and Docker, Oracle, Kubernetes, Cassandra, or Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Perform software QA/testing duties in a distributed systems environment.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to build system-wide automation infrastructure.
• Create and deploy automated system tests to replicate real world scenarios and improve test coverage.
• Develop test automation using coding and software development practices.
• Review product and system design requirements to verify test plans and cases.
