Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group is seeking an SDET/Quality Engineering professional to design and maintain scalable automated test solutions using Python across CLI, UI, API, and integration tests. You will collaborate with product and development teams to craft effective test strategies, implement BDD with Robot Framework, and drive QA practices throughout the SDLC in a globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or SDET roles.
• Proficient Python for automation framework development.
• Experience implementing BDD practices using Robot Framework and Gherkin/Cucumber.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test solutions and frameworks using Python.
• Build and implement automated tests for CLI, UI, API, integration, and end-to-end validation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers to develop test strategies and cases.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and fast feedback.
• Perform API testing and data validation to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and supervise defects through resolution with root-cause analysis.
• Drive QA standards across the SDLC and participate in release activities.
