Job summary

Alldus, a Healthtech-focused company in California, seeks a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design, build, and own the test automation architecture. You will develop scalable automation frameworks and embed testing into CI/CD to ensure secure, dependable releases.

You will automate UI and API tests, drive quality gates, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to refine acceptance criteria, ensuring robust authentication, authorization, and audit trails while supporting HIPAA

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software testing and automation experience.
• Experience building or extending automation frameworks.
• Strong coding skills in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
• Hands-on UI and API testing with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Pytest, Postman/Newman or REST Assured.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, integration and MCP testing.
• Embed automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines with quality gates and reliable reporting.
• Automate key user journeys such as registration, verification, consent management, health data delivery.
• Maintain regression suites and automated checks of critical production workflows.
• Create synthetic patient data and mock services to support testing.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define requirements and acceptance criteria.
