Job summary

MathWorks is seeking a Software Engineer in Test for the Infrastructure and Architecture Team to qualify core libraries and build automated tests. You will design and develop test tooling to improve developer workflows, collaborating with downstream teams to identify and resolve issues.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, C++ expertise, and experience with test automation, aiming to enhance MATLAB/Simulink-based development pipelines within an enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of professional experience (or master's 3+ years, or PhD) is required.
• Hands-on experience with C++ programming and debugging.
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming.
• Experience with Test automation and Test Frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test strategies that focus on architectural aspects of the software.
• Participate in development from the design phase and drive testability as a design aspect.
• Write Unit, Integration and System tests for C++/MATLAB code and run in CI-CD system.
• Investigate and debug failures, and work with team members to resolve them.
• Mentor new Engineers in the team.
