Job summary

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design, develop, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts ensuring software quality and data integrity. You will collaborate with software developers and data engineers to integrate testing into the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• Five (5) years of experience as an Automation Software Development Engineer in Test or a similar role, including at least three (3) years of application integration testing and two (2) years of creating automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium with a centralized framework repository.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, or others) for test automation and data validation, including knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks, test scripts, and tools.
• Execute manual and automated test cases, including data validation tests, report defects, and verify defect fixes.
• Integrate automated tests into the change pipeline for rapid feedback on code changes.
• Manage and generate test data to ensure data consistency and integrity.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and stakeholders to align test scenarios with requirements.
• Create test plans, cases, and strategies based on product requirements and data quality standards.
• Provide clear test documentation highlighting results and risks.
• Perform regression testing to ensure updates do not introduce issues to the data lake.
• Investigate and debug software and data issues with cross-functional teams.
• Possibly mentor and train Quality Assurance Engineers.
