Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation is seeking a Software QA Engineer to design, develop and maintain automation frameworks across frontend, API and backend, drive test automation and performance testing, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with software developers, project management and customer support to implement quality standards and scalable testing practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field with five years of software testing or QA leadership experience.
• Experience architecting large automation frameworks for frontend, API, and backend testing.
• Proficiency with Selenium, RestAssured, PostgreSQL; knowledge of Cucumber/Karate and TestNG.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automation frameworks and test plans.
• Collaborate with developers, PM and support to enforce quality standards.
• Lead CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes; enable parallel test runs.
• Migrate testing to BDD with Cucumber or Karate and maintain shared feature libraries.
• Conduct performance and load testing and ensure test environments and data are controlled.
• Architect enterprise-wide automation across UI, API and backend; verify DB and messaging.
