Blue Origin in Washington state seeks a seasoned software engineer to join the Advanced Concepts and Enterprise Engineering (ACE) team, developing high-performance computing pipelines, integrations, and automations to advance engineering analysis. Qualifications

• BA/BS in computer science, information science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience with production systems.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, compute-oriented services.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with Linux, Docker, and build pipelines.
• Familiarity with HPC concepts: Slurm, MPI, cluster management.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Version control (Git) and DevOps practices.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-team communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain HPC infrastructure and workflows on AWS to support engineering analysis workloads.
• Develop integrations and automation pipelines for 3rd-party analysis tools to improve productivity.
• Build and maintain containerized environments for analysis software across Linux and macOS.
• Develop APIs, services, and job orchestration layers to enable scalable, self-service compute.
• Contribute to Blue Analysis Templates and supporting toolchains.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for analysis software delivery.
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to identify automation opportunities.
