Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to architect and build AI-native systems for the AWS Infrastructure Supply Chain. You will lead a high-performing team, drive cross-team collaboration, and shape the technical roadmap from PoC to production in a fast-paced AWS environment.
You will mentor engineers, own design decisions, and ensure reliability, scalability, and operational excellence while delivering impact across the AWS supply chain platforms.
Job ID: 10567525 | Amazon Data Services, Inc.
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.
You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
We are looking for a high caliber Senior Software Development Engineer who wants to work on challenging, high impact problems. The services we own are responsible for billions of dollars in spend, resulting in us enhancing AWS capacity delivery efficiency.
Do you enjoy building systems from the ground up? Are you passionate about setting standards for an AWS product in its early stages of development, as well as influence its architecture and product ideation? Do you like working with the newest native AWS technologies and developing systems that can grow to the AWS scale? As part of AWS Supply Chain Management Team, you'll be a key part of developing next-generation supply chain solutions, and you'll have the chance to design and create enterprise-class products from scratch.
Our team builds software that matters to Amazon's customers and business at scale. We value technical excellence, thoughtful collaboration, and a commitment to getting the details right. We believe great software comes from inclusive teams where every voice is heard and engineers are empowered to take ownership of meaningful problems. We are focused on building reliable, scalable systems for the long term, and we are looking for engineers who share that vision and want to grow alongside us.
