Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to facilitate Agile processes for distributed infrastructure, DevSecOps, and SRE teams across LatAm, EU, and India time zones.

You will coordinate planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and blockers with TPMs and SDMs, continuously evolving Agile practices for multi-timezone delivery while maintaining a collaborative, inclusive team culture and a focus on engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a dedicated Scrum Master for highly technical infrastructure or platform engineering teams.
• Authorized to work for ANY employer in the US.
• Advanced Agile Certifications (CSM, PSM II, SAFe).
• Experience adapting Agile methodologies for distributed, multi-timezone teams.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) across follow-the-sun model to minimize meeting fatigue and maximize cross-regional alignment.
• Identify, mitigate, and elevate delivery blockers with TPM and SDMs to keep engineers moving across shifts.
• Evolve Agile processes tailored for DevSecOps, SRE, and Data Science workflows requiring different pacing.
• Foster a highly collaborative and inclusive team culture across diverse hubs, ensuring psychological safety and continuous improvement.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to facilitate Agile processes for distributed infrastructure, DevSecOps, and SRE teams across LatAm, EU, and India time zones.

MUST HAVES

• You must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US (e.g., Green card holders, TN visa holders, GC EAD, H4 EAD, U4U with EAD), as we are unable to sponsor or take over employment visa sponsorship at this time;
• 5+ years as a dedicated Scrum Master for highly technical infrastructure or platform engineering teams.
• Experience in vulnerability management lifecycles or cloud architecture.
• Advanced Agile Certifications (e.g., CSM, PSM II, SAFe).
• Proven experience adapting Agile methodologies for distributed, multi-timezone teams.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• Familiarity with Jira Advanced Roadmaps, Confluence, and engineering metrics (DORA metrics).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Asynchronous & Synchronous Facilitation: Efficiently facilitate Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) adapting to a follow-the-sun model to minimize meeting fatigue while maximizing cross-regional alignment.
• Blocker Resolution: Actively identify, mitigate, and elevate delivery blockers, working closely with the TPM and SDMs to ensure engineers are never stalled at shift boundaries.
• Process Optimization: Continuously evolve Agile processes tailored specifically for DevSecOps, SRE, and Data Science workflows, which often require different pacing than traditional software feature delivery.
• Team Health: Maintain a highly collaborative and friendly work atmosphere across diverse cultural hubs, ensuring psychological safety and continuous improvement.
