Job summary

MetaOption, LLC seeks a Screw Machine Manufacturing Engineer to develop and optimize manufacturing processes for Acme-Gridley and Davenport multi-spindle screw machines. You will design tooling, troubleshoot issues, improve equipment performance, and support new product introductions to meet customer specifications.

You will work with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, and Production to reduce setup times, scrap, downtime, and tooling costs while ensuring safety, quality,

Qualifications

• Experience with screw machines (Acme-Gridley, Davenport) and tooling design.
• Ability to specify cutting speeds, feeds, tooling geometry, and sequences.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving for machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Design tooling layouts and machine setups for screw machines.
• Perform complex machine setups and approve new jobs.
• Improve throughput, quality, and equipment utilization.
• Lead cost-reduction and setup-time reduction initiatives.
• Support root cause investigations for quality concerns.
