The Opportunity:

• We are seeking an experienced scientist or familiar with translating signals and techniques to working software for our program developing the next generation of space-based remote sensing.
• In this position, you will be at the forefront of developing the systems that keep our nation safe and work in emerging technology for synthetic aperture radar, from signals processing to image creation. This position will be at the forefront of keeping the United States ahead of its adversaries.
• The team is primarily based in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This work requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen holding an active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security clearance.
• This position is an on-site position located in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Lead algorithm development and signal processing from conception to software application

• Software skills in an applicable language (C++, Python, MATLAB, Rust, or similar)
• Familiarity working in multi-vendor environments and coordinating the integration of software into complex systems.
• Experience working with government experts and tying algorithm development to requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired:

• Experience with various radar modes: GMTI, ATR, or similar.
• Experience working with U.S. Government satellite customers.
• Strong personal networks in radar through previous work, academic research, or professional memberships.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph

The proposed salary range for this position is: $103,400 - $217,100
