Entegris, Inc. in Ambler, PA is seeking a Senior Scientist in Product Development to join its new product development team.

The role focuses on developing cost-effective, safe, and scalable synthetic routes for new chemical products, with opportunities to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting. The candidate will synthesize organometallic and main-group compounds, apply DOE methods, and collaborate across teams to drive process development and scale-up success.

Qualifications

• PhD in organometallic/main-group chemistry or related discipline required.
• Post doc in organometallic chemistry or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize organic ligands and main group/organometallic products.
• Identify routes to new targets and test feasibility with bench-scale experiments.
• Use DOE methodologies to generate results and conclusions.
• Understand and optimize reaction parameters to support process development.
• Assist scale-up activities with process engineers and scientists.
