Regeneron is seeking a Senior Scientist to join the Precision Medicine Quantitative Biomarker Team in the United States. The role focuses on driving Translational Medicine initiatives that accelerate biomarker discovery and shape clinical development strategies across internal medicine.

The successful candidate will design and implement multi-omics analyses, develop scalable pipelines, and lead scientific software and AI tools for data interpretation, while mentoring junior scientists.

Qualifications

  • PhD in molecular biology, bioinformatics, computational biology or related field required.
  • 0-2 years post-doctoral or industry experience.
  • Proven biomarker and translational-science leadership track record.
  • Proficiency in statistical modeling, ML, and multi-omics data integration using R and Python.
  • Experience implementing scalable cloud workflows (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Ability to communicate complex science to diverse stakeholders.

We are seeking a Senior Scientist to join our Precision Medicine Quantitative Biomarker Team, driving Translational Medicine initiatives that accelerate biomarker discovery and shape clinical development strategies across the entire internal medicine portfolio. In this role, you will serve as the Precision Medicine quantitative lead, applying innovative analytical, computational, and translational strategies, while partnering with biostatisticians, bioinformaticians, epidemiologists, mathematicians, clinical/research scientists, and external collaborators.

Discover your role:


  • Design and oversee exploratory analyses of multi-modal data (genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, metabolomic, clinical, and other biomarker endpoints) to generate actionable insights

  • Develop scalable, long-term pipelines, workflows, and automation that enhance biomarker discovery and clinical development efforts enterprise-wide

  • Lead development of scientific software and AI-driven tools for querying, visualizing, analyzing, and interpreting data

  • Coordinate cross-functional projects, partnering with Molecular Profiling, RGC, and Therapeutic Area Scientists to design and interpret analyses of disease biology and therapeutic mechanism of action

  • Ensure robustness and reproducibility of exploratory statistical and bioinformatic analyses performed in-house or by external vendors

  • Prepare and deliver data visualizations, manuscripts, reports, and presentations that communicate key findings to leadership and collaborators

  • Lead matrixed teams, rapidly structuring complex, unfamiliar datasets into clear clinical insights and stakeholder-ready presentations

  • Mentor junior scientists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and scientific rigor.


This role requires:


  • Ph.D. in molecular biology, bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related discipline, with 0-2 years post-doctoral or industry experience

  • Proven track record of leading biomarker and translational-science initiatives in cardiovascular, metabolic, or internal-medicine indications

  • Proficiency in statistical modeling, machine learning, and multi-omics data integration using R, Python, and relevant bioinformatics frameworks

  • Experience implementing scalable workflows on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse stakeholders and translate insights into clinical-development decisions


Preferred:


  • experience with version control and AI coding assistants such as Claude Code
