Job summary

United Therapeutics Corporation in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Senior Scientist to advance preclinical immunology programs focused on iPSC-derived thymic cell therapies. You will design and execute in vivo pharmacology studies, mentor junior scientists, and partner with cross-functional teams to translate bold ideas into therapies.

The role requires a PhD in immunology or related field, 5+ years in preclinical models, and strong expertise in flow cytometry, immunoassays, and data interpretation.

Qualifications

PhD in immunology, stem cell biology, regenerative medicine, or related discipline.
5+ years of experience developing preclinical models and in vivo mouse studies.
Strong knowledge of immunology, thymus biology, T-cell development, and immune reconstitution.

Responsibilities

Design, execute, and interpret in vivo studies to assess efficacy, safety, pharmacology, and mechanism of action of iPSC-derived thymic cell products.
Develop and refine preclinical mouse models relevant to immune reconstitution and aging.
Mentor junior scientists and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance programs.
