Job summary

BioMarin is seeking a Senior Scientist 2 in the Pharmacology and Toxicology group to provide nonclinical pharmacology/toxicology leadership across drug development. You will design, implement, and interpret studies for small molecules and biologics while aligning with GLP standards and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in toxicology, pharmacology, or related field.
• 5+ years of equivalent industry experience for a Scientist level.
• Strong knowledge of GLP and drug development processes.
• Experience supporting small molecules or biologics development.
• Experience preparing regulatory submissions and communicating with health authorities desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop nonclinical pharmacology/toxicology strategies across development stages.
• Design, execute, and interpret nonclinical studies in small molecules or biologics.
• Prepare synopses, protocols, study reports, and regulatory documents.
• Coordinate with CROs, labs, partners, and internal teams.
• Present data to regulatory bodies and cross-functional teams.
