Job summary

AbbVie’s MPDD group seeks a Senior Scientist I to develop automated, data-enabled workflows that accelerate early development decisions. You will profile physicochemical properties, screen formulations, and advance platform workflows for emerging modalities in collaboration with discovery and development teams.

Qualifications

• Senior Scientist I level requires Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. with 10+ (B.S.), 8+ (M.S.), and 0-3 (Ph.D.) years of experience in pharma or related industry.
• Hands-on experience in physicochemical property profiling and developability.
• Experience in assay development, automation, and workflow optimization, with scalable lab processes.
• Familiarity with preclinical formulation development and screening strategies.
• Experience with analytical, biophysical, and in vitro techniques to generate high-quality data for early development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automated workflows to accelerate decision-making in early development sciences.
• Profile physiochemical properties and screen preclinical formulations.
• Advance platform workflows for modalities of interest and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
