Job summary

The University of Arizona's Naiadel Lab is hiring a Senior Scientist, Psychology (Part Time) to advance cognitive science research. You will develop research software, manage experimental infrastructure, and integrate EEG, eye-tracking, and other physiological measures in both in-lab and online studies.

You will build reproducible data pipelines, apply machine-learning methods, and support backend data workflows for game-based research environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a quantitative/technical field (engineering, CS, cognitive science, psychology, neuroscience).
• Minimum of five years of relevant research experience in cognitive, behavioral, computational, or neurophysiological studies.
• Extensive experience with cognitive/behavioral research methods and scientific programming, including developing or maintaining experimental software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain research software and experimental infrastructure for lab and online cognitive studies.
• Integrate EEG, eye-tracking and other physiological data with behavioral measures for multimodal analyses.
• Build reproducible data pipelines and support machine-learning analyses and computational models.
• Configure and maintain research computing resources and data workflows for online studies and game-based environments.
• Collaborate with team to interpret results and contribute to manuscripts and presentations.
