Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field (PhD or MS with substantial experience).
• 6+ years building models for real-world sensor or process data.
• Strong ability to detect data artifacts, drift, and miscalibration in pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and scientific computing/ML tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end modeling pipelines from raw sensor data to customer-facing metrics.
• Develop multi-modal representations of plasma-material interactions.
• Design automated experimental protocols coordinating plasma hardware, motion/robotics, sensing, and data capture.
• Collaborate with embedded, controls, and software engineers to deploy architectures across edge, host, and cloud.
• Define performance metrics, validation strategies, and monitoring for models in benchtop products and pilot lines.
• Ensure data trustworthiness by detecting artifacts and building checks before results reach customers.
