Job summary

DuPont’s Tyvek® business in Healthcare & Water Technologies seeks an experienced individual contributor to influence the future of Tyvek® by translating science into market-ready products. You will lead innovation programs, partner with marketing, product management, and engineering, and drive commercialization from lab to production.

This role requires a PhD or Master’s, strong cross-functional influence, and excellent communication skills.

• Experience leading product or technology development in an industrial setting.
• Ability to connect scientific understanding with business and customer needs.
• Experience influencing cross-functional teams and driving results.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead product innovation programs for Tyvek® products.
• Partner with Marketing, Product Management, Application Development, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to identify growth opportunities and develop market participation strategies.
• Translate manufacturing process capabilities into differentiated product features and customer value propositions.
• Develop deep mechanistic understanding of the relationship between material structure, processing conditions, and product performance.
• Design and drive experimental programs involving flash-spinning technology, polymers, additives, and advanced material systems to support new product development.
• Lead scale-up and commercialization efforts, working across manufacturing and engineering to launch new products and technologies.
• Build, protect, and leverage intellectual property portfolios.
• Monitor trends and shape proactive technical strategies for Tyvek® growth.
