Job summary

Zobility is seeking a Scientist to create new technologies and solve problems in adhesive materials and processes with a technically fundamental approach. You will independently plan and lead development and testing protocols to explore routes for new products or technology creation.

Maintain and expand expertise across physical, chemical, analytical, or formulation principles and contribute to mechanistic understanding of current products through planned experiments and collaborations.

Qualifications

• BS with 6+ years of product development experience, MS with 3+ years of product development experience, or PhD in the sciences, typically in chemistry or material science
• Experience in adhesives, sealing materials, or related polymers
• Strong laboratory safety discipline and instrumentation knowledge
• Experience with technical/scientific disciplines and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Create new technologies in adhesive materials through a fundamental approach.
• Plan and lead development/testing protocols and explore routes for new products or technologies.
• Maintain expertise in physical, chemical, analytical, or formulation principles and methods.
• Develop mechanistic understanding of current products through experimental plans.

• Support patent activities through filing, surveillance, and IP defense.
