Job summary

Turner & Townsend, a global leader in project controls and cost management, is seeking an experienced Senior Scheduler to join our team and support scheduling for a large-scale project. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years' experience, expertise in Primavera P6, and a proven ability to coordinate with clients and consultants in a complex matrix environment. On-site requirements may change based on client needs; SOX controls may apply; Turner & Townsend promotes an inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in construction scheduling or project controls.
• Direct experience in matrix organizations and large-scale programs.
• Expertise using Primavera P6 for IMS development and progress tracking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and update the project IMS for large capital programs.
• Establish schedule management programs and deliverables.
• Interface with project stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
• Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis docs for approval.
• Conduct resource loading and leveling.
• Consolidate contractor schedules into the IMS.
• Apply EVM metrics to measure progress and trends.
• Provide schedule progress reports and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Develop,monitorand updateowners'Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Establish the schedule management program and deliverables to be used on large scale capital programs.
• Interface with project stakeholders astrusted advisorsto provide guidance and recommendations for the project.
• Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for approval by project teams.
• Conductschedule ofresource loading and leveling.
• Consolidatecontractors schedule to incorporate into IMS.
• Assess impactsonthe critical path and near-critical activities and report to the project team.
• Monitor schedule deviations and variances andassistin thedevelopmentof alternative methods for corrective action.
• Apply EVMmethodologyto measure project progress.
• Review schedules with project team members on a regular basis to ensure thataccurateandtimelydata is incorporatedintothe schedule.
• Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trendingcharts,and schedule analysis on a periodic basis.
• Maintain record of scope changes, trends and variances that potentially affect schedule performance.
• Assurethe credibilityof the information contained in the schedule.
• Maintain liaison withclientsand other consultants at allprojectsstages.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying,engineeringor field related to construction.
• Minimum 5-7 years of applicable experience.
• Direct experience working on teams within a complex matrix environment.
• Expertiseusing Primavera P6.
• Excellent communication skills.
