Job summary

Lombardia is seeking highly skilled Senior Scheduling Consultants to join our data center site scheduling team and support a large confidential client. The site schedulers will analyze, prepare, and report schedule health, working closely with the client team and general contractor to ensure scheduling best practices are applied.

Positions: Owner Rep Site Scheduler (Fairless Hills, PA, Hazelton, PA, Homer City, PA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering.
• 3-5 years of Data Center or mission-critical experience.
• 7 years of Primavera P6 experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform GC Schedule QA/QC reviews on a weekly basis.
• Establish reporting cadence; review and approve contractor schedules.
• Review baselines; ensure work scope is properly identified and sequenced.
• Lead and train project controls staff; report to client teams.

Job description

Lombardia is currently seeking highly skilled Senior Scheduling Consultants to join our data center site scheduling team & support a large confidential client. The site schedulers will be responsible for analyzing, preparing, and reporting schedule health. This will include working closely with the client team and general contractor to ensure scheduling best practices are applied. Ideal candidates should possess excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Positions: Owner Rep Site Scheduler ( Fairless Hills, PA, Hazelton, PA, Homer City, PA,)

Responsibilities:

• Performs GC Schedule QA/QC reviews on weekly basis
• Establish reporting cadence and review and approve contractors and vendors detailed schedules submitted for progress updates
• Review GC’s baseline schedule submissions and verifies that all work scope is identified properly and logically sequenced correctly; provides written detailed schedule review comments
• Validate the accuracy and assure the credibility of information contained in the schedule analysis performed by the Contractor.
• Comply with instructions, policies, schedule specifications and procedures to perform the functions of the job
• Recommend ways to improve schedule performance through analysis, work-around, lessons learned, corrective actions and acceleration plans
• Responsible for leading and training construction managers and project controls specialists with reports for their assigned projects
• Assist the Project Team in evaluating and monitoring the Contractors progress schedule as well as consulting and troubleshooting issues throughout the construction of the project. Interpret schedule & cost reporting results and lead reviews with client's Pre-construction, Construction, Scheduling team & Project Controls Teams
• Carry out Milestone Variance report and provide recommendations, if any, to the CM & GC
• Carry out forensic analysis for schedule updates and provide comments to the CM & GC
• Performs status updates for Schedules on a weekly basis
• Analyze schedule impacts due to changes or claims, including time-impact analysis; Review Schedule driven Change Orders and Time Impact/ Claims submitted by vendors
• Performs schedule Time Impact Analysis for any change orders that affect the construction schedule; conducts schedule negotiations with the contractor for any delay time settlements
• Walks the construction site as needed and checks the contractor’s weekly/monthly schedule progress; provides reports to the client's project team and as required to upper management
• Comply with onsite safety requirements set forth by client and General contractor
• Reads drawings to determine if work is in or out of scope, and understands terms and conditions of the contract to determine if any compensable or non-compensable time extensions have merit
• Effectively communicates with the Contractor regarding all schedule related matters and concerns in the weekly status meetings and all other schedule related meetings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or Engineering
• 3-5 years of Data Center or other mission critical experience
• 7 years of experience in Primavera P6
• Thorough knowledge of standard construction practices, project sequencing and installation methods
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications to understand, build, and approve/accept schedules produced by contractors.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environment.
• Be results-oriented to ensure delivery of appropriate products and services in an accurate, complete and timely fashion.
• Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience in reviewing time impact analysis and recovery schedules.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and set priorities based on the business needs. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
