Job summary

Zachry Group in Texas is seeking an Industrial Scaffold Builder to assist with the construction, dismantling, and repair of wooden and metal scaffolds and related structures on project sites.

You will identify tools, assess safety risks, measure and cut materials, and support construction tasks including decks and other wooden structures, while upholding strict safety protocols and PPE usage. You may be required to work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic building techniques and form construction.
• Willingness to assist other crafts and follow safety rules.
• Must have reliable transportation and own required tools.
• NCCER - Industrial Scaffold Builder is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify all tools required for tasks.
• Identify safety risks and precautions to eliminate those risks.
• Measure, mark, and cut wooden/metal materials to specifications.
• Assist with construction, reinforcement, and dismantling of pre-constructed Scaffolds.
• Assist with building wooden Scaffolds and auxiliary items.
• Work on miscellaneous construction projects such as decks and steps, bulletin boards, and additional wooden structures.
• Clean up work areas.
