Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of related experience; graduate degree or equivalent with 10 years of related experience; in lieu of a degree, 16 years of related experience.
• Experience developing or contributing to system architectures for civil space agency and/or defense/intelligence community programs.
• Experience supporting proposal development, capture activities, or customer-facing technical exchanges.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve reference architectures for multi-mission ground systems spanning satellite command and control, mission data processing, antenna and contact management, and mission operations.
• Lead technical trade studies evaluating on-premises, cloud-native, and hybrid architecture approaches for satellite ground system modernization efforts.
• Translate customer requirements and RFI/RFP technical evaluation criteria into credible, cost-effective solution architectures.
• Support systems engineering activities including requirements decomposition, interface definition, and technical risk assessment for proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with software, cybersecurity, and cloud engineering teams to ensure proposed architectures are technically executable and align with current program capabilities.
• Partner with Capture Managers and Business Development leads to shape technical win strategy, discriminators, and customer-facing messaging across active pursuits.
• Support customer engagement activities, including technical exchange meetings, one-on-one sessions, and industry days.
• Author and contribute to technical content for RFI responses, white papers, capability statements, and proposal volumes.
• Support competitive assessments, including technical benchmarking against known and anticipated competitors.
• Contribute to capture strategy and solution baseline reviews by presenting solution concepts and defending technical approach to internal review boards
