Job summary

Amtex Systems Inc. is seeking a highly experienced SAP UI5 Developer in San Antonio, TX. The role requires strong SAP UI5 expertise, RAP and CDS, and hands-on experience with OData and REST APIs.

You will work on UI solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to production deployments. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of MVC and OOP, data modeling, and experience with JS libraries, with the ability to deliver end-to-end UI features and maintain solution quality

Qualifications

• Experience with OData, REST APIs, and CDS annotations.
• Experience with BAS and Git.
• Understanding of MVC, OOP, and data modeling.
• Ability to independently deliver UI solutions.
• UI-backend integration experience.
• Familiarity with RAP and Fiori Elements extensibility.
• Experience with JS libraries.
• Development through production deployment.
• Collaborate with technical teams on solution design and analysis.
• Work with functional teams to implement prioritized solutions.
• Develop, test, and deliver solutions based on functional specifications.
• Debug, enhance, and support SAP solutions across UI and backend layers.
• Resolve defects identified during testing cycles.
• Coordinate transports, version control, and parallel development activities.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure quality standards.
• Maintain clear and timely communication on progress, risks, and issues.
• Maintain strong understanding of application architecture and system landscape.
