Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks an experienced Program Security Representative to provide multi-discipline security support for SAPs, SCI, and collateral data. The role includes day-to-day analysis, policy development, and oversight of security programs for US military operations.

Candidate must have 10+ years of related experience, 2+ years SAP experience, and TS/SCI with polygraph eligibility. 40-hour workweeks with travel 10–25%.

Responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to the provisions of the NISPOM, its Supplement, the DoD Overprint, DCID, ICD, and SAP policy.
• Assist in developing and executing approved policies and procedures for safeguarding SAP, SCI and collateral data in support of US military operations.
• Provide day-to-day security support including continuous assessment to identify shortfalls and propose improvements to policies and systems.
• Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to test, training, and operations.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and training the Operations Security program.
• Oversee contractor and subordinate facility assistance and oversight.
• Brief all levels of government and civilian staff on security topics.
• Conduct and document SAP facility compliance reviews, follow-ons, and close-outs.
• Monitor, report and track corrective actions from compliance reviews.
• Notify program staff of pertinent security matters in a timely manner.
• Investigate loss/compromise of classified information and generate damage assessments.
• Coordinate with SAP security personnel to incorporate lessons learned into SAP education program.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and oversight of team members.
