Job summary

DGN Technologies in Sunnyvale, CA seeks an experienced SAP Security Consultant to design and enforce S/4HANA authorization models and Fiori access control. You will implement PFCG roles, align OData services with backend authorizations, and support SoD/risk analysis while addressing security tickets within SLA.

The role requires hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, and collaboration with functional teams to ensure secure, scalable Fiori deployments across embedded S/4HANA and SAP BTP

Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on SAP Security experience with S/4HANA security and Fiori/UI5 authorizations.
• Deep knowledge of PFCG, authorization objects, SU24 proposals, and derived/composite roles.
• Experience securing Fiori Launchpad in embedded and standalone scenarios.
• Experience aligning front-end to back-end roles via OData services.
• Strong troubleshooting using SAP authorization tools and traces.
• SoD/risk analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain SAP S/4HANA authorization roles and profiles using PFCG.
• Configure and secure Fiori Launchpad for embedded and standalone deployments.
• Maintain role synchronization between OData services, ICF nodes, and backend objects.
• Perform user administration tasks: user creation, role assignment, mass maintenance, access reviews.
• Troubleshoot authorization errors using SU53, ST01/STAUTHTRACE, and SU24.
• Support SoD analysis and remediation and emergency access management.
• Build and secure Fiori apps across transactional, analytical, and factsheet types.
• Role redesign and cleanup projects including SU25-based trace analysis.
• Support S/4HANA upgrade/migration projects from a security perspective.
• Maintain role matrices, provisioning procedures, and audit evidence.
• Respond to day-to-day SAP security tickets within SLA.
