Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution consultant focused on end-to-end Variant Configuration (VC) and B2B EDI integrations. You will own VC models from product master to order processing and ensure seamless EDI-driven storefront-to-S/4HANA flows across markets.

You will collaborate with SAP, commerce and business teams to drive architecture evolution, performance improvements and SAP Commerce Cloud integration. Fluent English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP SD and S/4HANA projects.
• End-to-end Variant Configuration expertise across SD, PP and pricing integration.
• B2B EDI and IDoc/ALE integration experience.
• Experience with global multi-market rollouts in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to communicate with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Nice to have SAP Commerce Cloud or e-commerce integration with S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) and SAP BTP integration.
• Background in manufacturing with cables/connectivity experience a plus.

Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced consultant in SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) to take ownership of two key areas: end-to-end Variant Configuration (VC) and B2B EDI integration with customers in SD. The role involves designing, enhancing and optimizing configurable product models, from the product master, classes and characteristics through dependencies and pricing to sales order processing, production and delivery, while also implementing and maintaining EDI integrations for customer-facing processes such as orders, order confirmations, delivery notes, invoices and ASNs. The consultant will work closely with internal SAP, commerce and business teams, contributing to the evolution of the S/4HANA architecture, process and performance improvements, and the connection with the broader SAP ecosystem, including SAP Commerce Cloud, to ensure configurable products and customer orders flow consistently from storefront and EDI channels into S/4HANA.

Requirements

• Proven end-to-end expertise in Variant Configuration, covering SD, PP and pricing integration
• Strong background in B2B EDI and IDoc/ALE-based integration, partner profiles and output determination in SD
• Experience in global, multi-market rollouts in an enterprise environment
• Capability to work independently with architectural ownership and to communicate with both business and technical stakeholders
• Fluent English; German is a plus
• Nice to have Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud or e-commerce integration with S/4HANA
• Knowledge of Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) and SAP BTP integration
• Background in the manufacturing industry, with cables and connectivity experience as a plus
