Job summary

Orchard LLC in Fairfax, VA, is seeking a Senior SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer for a Greenfield implementation. You will design, develop, and integrate ABAP solutions within S/4HANA and lead other developers through code reviews in a fast-paced Agile environment.

The role requires 6+ years SAP ABAP, S/4HANA experience, Fiori/BTP, and strong API skills. This hybrid position supports Fairfax, with travel to Lafayette, Knoxville, or Lebanon as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Hands-on S/4HANA experience with integration of backend and external apps.
• Experience with Fiori and BTP concepts is preferred.
• Proficiency in web services, APIs, proxies and data conversions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive S/4HANA ABAP solutions.
• Develop and manage integrations between S/4HANA and external systems.
• Analyze and improve system performance and business processes.
• Use SAP Gateway Service Builder to create SAP OData entities.
• Analyze customer operations, validate requirements, suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with teams to translate requirements into S/4HANA designs.
• Create design docs, perform unit/integration/release testing.
