Job summary

EY seeks an experienced SAP Manufacturing Senior Technology Analyst to join our Technical Consulting team. You will liaise with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and design SAP-based system architecture, focusing on PP and related modules.

The role involves frequent travel (40–60%) and delivering tailored SAP solutions within client ecosystems. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree, 2–4 years in SAP PP, and have hands-on SAP ERP/S4HANA experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of related work experience in a functional capacity with exposure to the SAP Production Planning (PP) module.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with SAP ERP and/or SAP S/4 HANA systems, specifically within the SAP manufacturing domain.
• Experience with configuration, master data and end to end understanding of the SAP PP module.
• Strong technical skills in application functional design.
• Expertise in technology business requirements definition, analysis, and mapping.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills as well as experience with delivering work products including but not limited to business process design documents and functional specification documents.
• Ability and comfort level researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies.
• A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Evaluate business models and processes with stakeholders.
• Analyze newly implemented technology solutions to verify they meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions.
• Act as a Subject Matter Resource (SMR) for SAP Manufacturing during project implementations; facilitate design workshops and discussions, gather requirements, and recommend tailored S/4 HANA best practices.
• Guide the implementation of these solutions within client SAP ecosystems.
• Demonstrate in-depth functional capabilities of SAP Production Planning (PP) and related modules; apply strong business acumen.
• Provide exceptional client service by tracking milestones, managing risks, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
