Job summary

Lonza seeks an experienced SAP Solution Architect for Plan-to-Make (P2M) to lead end-to-end architecture across SAP S/4HANA and integrated manufacturing platforms. You will partner with business and technology leaders to design scalable, secure solutions for global manufacturing operations.

You will drive architecture of PP, PP-PI, MM, and related processes, and oversee integrations with MES, LIMS, and planning systems while maintaining enterprise alignment. 25% travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years delivering SAP manufacturing solutions in complex environments.
• Deep SAP ECC and S/4HANA expertise with PP/PI/MM knowledge.
• Experience designing integrations between SAP and MES/LIMS/planning/warehouse systems.
• Strong understanding of APIs, IDocs, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
• Ability to lead architecture workshops with executives and technical teams.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture for Plan-to-Make across SAP S/4HANA and manufacturing platforms.
• Design and govern production planning, PP-PI, MM, and related processes.
• Lead integration strategies between SAP, MES, LIMS, planning, and warehouse systems.
• Facilitate architecture workshops with global stakeholders and partners.
• Ensure designs align with security, data standards, and enterprise templates.
• Drive adoption of standard SAP capabilities and reduce custom development.
• Travel up to 25% to support sites and initiatives.
