Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Network/System Administrator (Net/Sys Admin) III to organize, install, and support government computer systems, including LANs, WANs, intranets, and data communications.

The role involves architectural input, hardware/software upgrade decisions, and day-to-day support for SAP-related activities. The position requires 2+ years of SAP experience, 5+ years in related IT roles, and a TS/SCI-level clearance or ability to obtain.

Qualifications

• 2+ years SAP experience required.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a related area (with 2 years’ experience) or equivalent experience (4 years).
• Experience with DoD policy as it applies to system and network administration.

Responsibilities

• Organize, install, and support government computer systems including LANs/WANs and intranets.
• Help architect, design and analyze network models and upgrade infrastructure.
• Lead IT ops team for day-to-day management of networks and maintain RMF Authority to Operate.
• Assist security assessments and create O&M checklists; develop SOPs and SOPs.
• Operate SIEM tools and monitor security incidents; work with ISSM/ISSO/ISSE as needed.
