Job summary

EY seeks a Senior Application Designer and Developer to define user requirements and build UI components across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. The role focuses on creating software components that connect SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring business requirements are met through robust coding and integration.

The ideal candidate brings extensive SAP integration experience, API proficiency (OData, SOAP), and a track record of delivering seamless client solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Four-year bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically 2–4 years experience in SAP integration contexts.
• Experience designing SAP integration scenarios using SAP PI/PO, SAP CIG, and SAP Integration Suite.
• Experience with non-SAP integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica).
• Hands-on interfaces using APIs (OData, SOAP), events, ABAP proxies, RFCs, IDocs, file-based integrations.
• Experience building integrations with adapters such as OData, SOAP, AMQP, AS2, AS4, Ariba, JMS, HTTPS, JDBC, IDoc, SFTP.
• Knowledge of security, monitoring, and cloud integration (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps; strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel 40-60%.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze client requirements for SAP integration projects.
• Design UI components and services across mobile, web, and tablet platforms.
• Develop and test software to meet business requirements; document solutions.
• Collaborate with clients and technical teams to ensure seamless SAP and non-SAP integrations.
• Travel to meet clients as needed.
