Job summary

Commercial Metals (CMC) is seeking an experienced SAP integration specialist in Irving, TX to design, develop, and monitor interfaces using SAP BTP Integration Suite and PI/PO. You will work with partners to define EDI/API requirements, design and configure integration objects, and contribute to testing and user training.

The role requires 5+ years in SAP BTP and 10+ years in SAP PI/PO, with strong Java/Groovy/XSLT skills and a proven ability to work across cross-functional teams in an Agile

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP BTP Integration Suite development.
• 10+ years of SAP PI/PO development experience.
• Experience leading a Development/Support team is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with cloud-based interfaces and SAP BTP Services.
• Experience with SAP S/4Hana (Private & Public).
• Experience with REST, SOAP, JDBC, SFTP and adapters.
• Experience with Java, Groovy and XSLT mappings.
• Experience with ALE/IDocs/Proxies and data flow across modules.
• Familiarity with other integration platforms like BizTalk, Boomi or MuleSoft is a plus.
• Knowledge of handling sensitive data securely.
• Experience with SuccessFactors interfaces is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile SDLC.

What You'll Do

• The candidate must be flexible in learning about new technologies and platforms
• Work on designing, developing, and monitoring interfaces using Integration Suite & PI/PO
• Will be responsible for working with partners in determining EDI/API requirements, designing, developing and configuring integration objects
• This role may also be participating in other project activities including testing, documentation and user training
• The candidate must work independently or with project managers to define work tasks and provide estimates.

• 5+ years of SAP BTP Integration Suite development
• 10+ years of SAP PI/PO development experience
• Experience with leading a Development/Support team would be a plus

• Worked on design and development of interfaces with cloud-based systems

• Work on IDocs and EDI based integrations using SAP B2B adapters
• Knowledge and experience with other integration platforms like BizTalk, Boomi or MuleSoft would be a plus
• Experience in handling sensitive data securely
• Experience working on Success Factors interfaces is a plus
• Must have experience with interfaces using ALE/IDocs/Proxies, good understanding of data flow and integration across modules.
• Must understand the software development life cycle and be able to perform systems analysis and design activities in accordance with Agile development methodology

Your Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field; or equivalent experience required.
