Job summary

EY seeks a Senior Application Designer and Developer to define UI requirements and build interfaces across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. You will create software components that integrate with SAP and non-SAP systems, translating business needs into robust solutions.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, designing intuitive UIs, writing clean code, and documenting workflows. Regular travel to client sites is expected as part of engagement delivery.

Qualifications

• Four-year bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years in a relevant field with SAP integrations.
• Experience designing SAP integration scenarios with SAP PI/PO, SAP CIG and SAP Integration Suite.
• Experience with non-SAP integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica) is a plus.
• Hands-on with APIs (OData, SOAP), events, ABAP proxies, RFCs, IDocs, and file-based integrations.
• Experience building integration architectures ensuring data quality and system integrity.
• Experience with integration adapters like OData, SOAP, AMQP/AS2/AS4, Ariba, JMS, HTTPS, JDBC, SFTP, XI.
• Knowledge of integration security, monitoring, and troubleshooting tools (e.g., SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, Splunk).
• Familiarity with EDI standards (ANSI X12/EDIFACT) and cloud integration (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills; travel 40–60%.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and define UI needs across mobile, web, and tablet platforms.
• Design and develop UI components and services that integrate with SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and effective coding.
• Engage stakeholders, manage risks, and document workflows and configurations.
• Travel as needed to meet with clients and support engagements.
