Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Application Designer and Developer to deliver SAP-integrated user interfaces across mobile, web and tablet platforms. You will gather requirements, architect solutions, and write clean, scalable code in a client-facing role.

The role involves designing interfaces, ensuring business requirements are met, and collaborating with stakeholders; regular travel (40–60%) to client sites is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Four-year bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically, 2–4 years in a field relevant to SAP integrations.
• Experience designing SAP integration scenarios using SAP PI/PO, SAP CIG, and SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Trading Partner Management, Advanced Event Mesh, Edge Integration Cell).
• Experience with non-SAP integration platforms (e.g. MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience building interfaces using APIs (OData, SOAP), events, ABAP proxies, RFCs, IDocs and file-based integrations.
• Experience developing integration architectures and strategies to ensure data quality and system integrity.
• Experience with integration adapters (OData, SOAP, AMQP, AS2, AS4, Ariba, JMS, HTTPS, JDBC, IDoc, SFTP, Process Direct, MAIL, XI).
• Familiarity with integration security, monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, Splunk).
• Knowledge of cloud integration platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of DBMS and data modeling.
• Strong written and verbal communication and technical writing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel 40–60%.
