Job summary

PG&E is seeking a senior SAP/ABAP developer with HR/Payroll focus to design and integrate SAP/HCM services. The role covers ECC, SF-EC, S4HANA and BTP, including CAP/RAP models, RESTful API usage, and cross-system reporting. Hybrid work is available, with 1–2 days on-site in Oakland.

Ideal candidates have extensive ABAP/HCM experience, SAP UI5, Fiori Elements, and strong collaboration with analysts and architects to meet evolving business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent.
• 7 years of programming analysis experience.
• Advanced experience in a programming language.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, modifies, tests and maintains SAP/HCM related applications.
• Develops integrations between SAP and non-SAP apps, on-prem and cloud.
• Leads cross-functional collaboration and technical design reviews.
• Creates test beds and regression tests; ensures software reliability.
• Guides junior staff and contributes to development governance.
