Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP HANA Engineer to design, build, and optimize HANA-native models across S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and standalone HANA platforms. You will translate complex analytics requirements into performant models and diagnose HANA performance issues with deep expertise in calculation and CDS views, AMDPs, and SQLScript.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
12+ years of SAP HANA development experience.
Strong hands-on expertise with calculation views, CDS views, AMDPs, and SQLScript.
Solid understanding of HANA architecture, including in-memory storage and columnar processing.
Hands-on experience with HANA performance tuning tools and methodologies.
Experience with HANA replication tools (SLT, SDI, SDA).
Working knowledge of HANA security models, including analytic privileges and roles.
Familiarity with S/4HANA embedded analytics or BW/4HANA modeling.
Strong SQL skills.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Design and develop calculation views, CDS views, AMDPs, and SQLScript procedures for analytical and transactional workloads.
Translate requirements into well-structured HANA data models balancing flexibility and performance.
Optimize queries using partitioning, pruning, and parallelization features of HANA.
Lead HANA performance reviews and audits with standard tools.
Implement security models for HANA, including analytic privileges and roles.
Design and operate HANA replication scenarios using SLT/SDI/SDA.
Support data tiering using HANA Native Storage Extension and dynamic tiering.
Build and maintain HANA-native apps and procedures for Fiori, BW, and BTP services.
Lead capacity planning and sizing for HANA systems.
Collaborate with Basis, ABAP, and analytics teams for integrated models.
Maintain comprehensive architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational docs.
Mentor junior developers on HANA-native development and performance.
