Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with ABAP OO, OData and REST.
• Experience with ABAP RAP and RAP‑based apps, including behavior definitions and validations.
• Strong command of CDS Views, business objects and OData bindings (V2/V4).
• Solid SAP UI5 Freestyle app experience, extending Fiori Elements and building freestyle apps atop RAP services.
• Understanding of SAP Clean Core principles and ABAP Cloud development.
• Experience with SAP BTP, CAP, Fiori Elements, and event‑driven architectures; familiarity with CI/CD (abapGit, cTS).
• Proven mentoring/leadership in agile teams; strong communication in English (C1); German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own features end‑to‑end from CDS data model to UI5 screen, including performance, tests and rollout.
• Drive architecture decisions, write architecture decision records, and align with product owners and architects.
• Uphold SAP Clean Core principles in production code and promote quality standards.
• Leverage AI/LLM tools for design, development, testing, reviews, and documentation.
• Conduct code reviews, pair programming and knowledge sharing; mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate in small autonomous product teams with product owners and architecture guidance.
