Airbus Helicopters, Inc. seeks a senior Planning/Forecasting Specialist to own material forecasting, inventory strategy and SAP optimization. You will bridge production lines and IT, manage multi-million-dollar inventory allocations, and serve as the SAP SME for Procurement.

With 7+ years in supply chain and deep SAP mastery, you will influence assembly readiness in a high‑stakes aerospace environment, including SI projects, forecasting, and system enhancements across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Material Management, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Seven years of specialized experience in demand forecasting, inventory planning, procurement or scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of BOMs for production materials and services.
• Experience with SAP and basic MRP concepts.
• Willingness to travel 10% domestically and internationally.

Responsabilités

• Stock collection and demand analysis to determine optimal materials for stock and forecasting parameters.
• Inventory optimization balancing fill rates with working capital and cash flow.
• Serve as SAP focal point for Procurement, providing daily navigation and support.
• Collaborate with IT on system enhancements, testing and production upgrades.
• Lead SAP training, create materials, and onboard staff to new features.
• Maintain SAP master data integrity across procurement and planning modules.
• Ensure AS9100 compliance through rigorous documentation and change logs.
• Monitor forecasting and KPIs and report to senior leadership.
